Starting from scratch?

Well, Monday came and went and I didn't hear anything from my IM, so I sent her an email just checking in on her and hoping everything was fabulous in Spain.  Tuesday evening she finally emailed me back informing me that things had gone south and her previous surrogate wanted to try again (after telling her that she was done, hence my IM looking for another surrogate).  She said that she is torn as to what she is going to do, and is going to leave it up to her doctor to make the decision as to who she should use.  I emailed her back Tuesday evening letting her know that I would wait for her to hear back from her doctor.   I really hope things work out to my benefit, as I really hit it off with her and I don't want to have to start from scratch again.  I haven't heard anything from her since Tuesday, so I  put my ad back up in the classifieds, b/c I have a gut feeling she is going to continue her journey with her previous surrogate.  Given my situation with Tara, I understand her wanting to use her previous surrogate, as she has already created a bond with her, but it doesn't make it any less disappointing.  I guess I don't hold out much hope! :(

Hurry up and wait...

That is the way things go in the surrogacy world.  I have potentially matched with a couple in Poland.  Just as we were entering the "dating" stage, her and her family went on a 12 day "holiday". (as she calls it)  So needless to say, we are in a holding pattern until she returns.  I have not talked to her in a week and probably won't hear from her until the 7th.  Hopefully she will have some news from her RE by then, so we can move on to the next step.  I just keep praying that God gives me patience in this hurry up and wait game...
